Hamlet

Personal Book Cover Design

Digital Illustration, 2025

The "Hamlet" cover is directly inspired by Act I, Scene V, in which the ghost describes how Claudius murdered King Hamlet by pouring poison into his ear, hence setting in motion Hamlet’s internal struggle and the cycle of hatred and death that follows. The splash of poison where it touches the ear is made to resemble the shape of a crown, signifying Claudius’s desire for power, which prompted him to murder his brother.
